Mr. Macaroni, a comedian and actor, has lamented the country’s fuel shortage.
Nigeria, a country with crude oil as one of its natural resources, has continued to face setbacks in producing enough petroleum for its citizens.
Since November 2022, fuel scarcity has ravaged the country, compounding the hardships that Nigerians face on a daily basis.
Mr Macaroni questioned why the country is still experiencing fuel scarcity in 2023, lamenting the government’s nonchalant attitude toward daily hardship, which has contributed to traffic jams on highways.
In light of the upcoming general elections, Mr Macaroni stated that the government is displaying shege (a term used to describe extreme and unpleasant situations) to its citizens, and that the same government is campaigning to continue on the same path.
He wrote: “Nigerians definitely do not deserve this hardship and suffering. Why are we still having fuel scarcity in 2023?? This is why we all must vote!!! Politicians will only do better when they see that the people have the power to elect them and throw them out of office!!”.
“This Government is showing us Shege and still campaigning to show us more Shege. Are you people not tired of seeing Shege?
