Osas Ighodaro, a Nollywood actress, seems unconcerned about the backlash and harsh comments she has received following her AMVCA win.
The 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) took place last night, May 20th, at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The movie diva has for the second time in a role won the Best Actress in Drama/TV Series for her part in ‘Man of God’.
The actress’s remarkable performance in “Man of God” enthralled viewers and garnered her well-deserved accolades.
Osas Ighodaro defeated Bimbo Ademoye, Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe, and others to win the prestigious honor.
Unfortunately for her, social media fans did not think she deserved the prize, especially because she was nominated with Nse and Ini Edo.
Many people criticized the award organization for being biased in the comments area. They saw that Osas Ighodaro’s Man of God co-star, Dorcas Fapson, performed better than her.
Osas Ighodaro spoke up and shared a photo of herself during the award ceremony.
The mother of one expressed gratitude, humility, and blessing.
“Grateful, Humbled, Blessed”.
