Popular Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, known by his stage name Portable, has strongly cautioned the Nigerian police in response to the recent apprehension of Sam Larry.
Yesterday, on September 28th, 2023, the Lagos police arrested Sam Larry shortly after his return to Nigeria, connecting him to the death of Mohbad.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Nigerian police PRO, shared this news on the X app.
He confirmed on Thursday, September 28th that the music promoter was in custody and is currently assisting with the investigation into Mohbad’s demise.
He wrote, “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation.”
Expressing his outrage at the arrest, Portable angrily demands justice for Mohbad while reacting to the Nigerian Police’s statement that Sam Larry is cooperating with them.
He says; “Welcome back to Nigeria Sam Larry, Nigeria police we don’t need assistance we need investigation.”
Portable, who is set to perform in Germany on September 30th, also mentions that he is currently en route to France and had a layover in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
