Controversial musician Portable has claimed that he received a substantial payment of N5 million from the Celestial Church, which is why he believes he must perform.

The Nigerian artist Portable made no effort to sugarcoat his words when discussing his surprising removal from a Celestial Church event.

His removal from the roster of performers for the Ankara praise night at Land of Goshen Cathedral, alongside Pasuma and other artists scheduled for the event, recently sparked a social media frenzy.

Responding swiftly, Portable took to social media and addressed the issue in a viral video. In the video, the singer of the hit song “Zazu” asserted his determination to perform for the church.

Portable stated in the video that the church had provided him with a payment of N5 million, highlighting his obligation to deliver.

The fearless singer announced that he and Pasuma would go ahead with their performance, as they were considered children of God.

Not content with just that, the musician also humbly appealed to the Celestial Church for permission to perform in the name of God.

He emphasized the importance of this opportunity.

He said:

“Cele we must do the show o, you have paid me N5 million and we must do it. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.
