Reality TV star Uriel Oputa recently responded to remarks made by skit-maker OGB, who mocked individuals with less than a million in their bank accounts.
In her reaction, Uriel proudly expressed her joy and gratitude for being both Nigerian and British.
She emphasized that being half British is her greatest blessing, as Nigerians often possess a tendency to undermine one’s belief system until they doubt themselves.
She further shared her sentiments about Nigerians’ inclination to categorize and stereotype people.
Uriel cautioned against this narrow-mindedness, urging Nigerians to travel and gain exposure to broaden their perspectives.
Using OGB’s statement as an example, she explained why many Nigerians struggle with their mindset.
Recall that yesterday, skit-maker OGB had disclosed that if you are a person and you don’t have up to six figures in your account, then you’re not supposed to sleep at night.
He even hinted at the fact people are supposed to lose sleep until they’ve made such amount of money.
Uriel slammed him for this statement, revealing that listening to people who sound like this, will make other people end up with a very messed-up mindset.
