Nigerian actor Yul Edochie implores his followers to reclaim their power and not allow hate comments from online users to impact their lives.
Social media has given individuals a platform to express their opinions, yet sometimes these opinions cross the line and become hateful.
As someone in the public eye, Yul Edochie has faced the harmful effects of such negativity personally.
Nevertheless, he stresses the importance of not allowing these comments to define or devalue oneself.
In a recent post, Yul Edochie motivates his followers to rise above the hate and prioritize personal growth, reminding them that they are in control of their own happiness.
He points out that most trolls have unresolved issues, rendering their words worthless.
Yul Edochie concludes by stating that anyone who continues to lend an ear to online trolls is not truly ready to live a fulfilling life.
“Stop allowing people’s hate comments about you on social media to get to you. Their comments don’t mean anything. Ugly people call you ugly & you’re bothered? Broke people call you broke & you’re worried. People who haven’t fixed their own problems are telling you how to fix yours & you’re listening to them? You’re surely not ready for this life. Do you. Focus” He wrote on Instagram.
