After just 15 minutes, the Gunners led 3-0 thanks to goals from Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, and an own goal by Jayden Bogle.
Kai Havertz and Declan Rice also scored in the first half.
After the break, Arsenal’s Ben White scored again.
The result moves them up to 61 points, one behind Manchester City and two behind leaders Liverpool.
Liverpool host City on Sunday, a day after Arsenal host Brentford.
