Nigerian artist Skiibii revealed on The Afrobeats podcast how he and music producer Rexxie were able to persuade Wizkid to join them in the remix of their popular song, Abracadabra.
Skiibii shared that Wizkid was a fan of the original song and would often be seen enjoying it.
He also mentioned how supportive Wizkid had been in the past, reposting his videos on social media.
After discussing with Rexxie, Skiibii suggested inviting Wizkid to collaborate on the remix.
They approached Wizkid in a club, made him an offer, and he agreed to be part of the project.
The remix was a huge success, quickly becoming a viral hit.
