Nollywood was plunged into grief on April 10th following the tragic death of Nollywood icon Junior Pope in a boating accident.

The news of his passing left the industry reeling with sorrow.

Actress Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to express her deep sadness over his death, describing it as devastating and heartbreaking.

In her post, Iyabo Ojo also mourned the other young individuals who lost their lives in the same accident, lamenting their untimely departure.

She went on to highlight the concerning trend of actors losing their lives in the Nigerian entertainment industry, noting that Junior Pope’s death was especially poignant given the circumstances surrounding it.
