Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde in recently defended Dunamis preacher Paul Enemche after a viral video surfaced of him publicly shaming one of his members.
Remember that yesterday, a viral video surfaced online showing Pastor Paul castigating a woman for her testimony. While presenting her experience in church, Pastor Paul interrupted her and stated that it was a lie.
This was because she stated that she had earned a Bachelor of Science in Law, while he stated that there was no such thing. He indicated that she could not speak decent English and that lawyers are expected to speak well.
He also warned his church members to come to the altar to tell a false testimony. Jemima took to Twitter to express that Pastor Paul is human. She further stated that if somebody was to lie unprovoked, as a human being, you’re naturally supposed to be annoyed
She shared a humorous laughing emoji, which showed the fact that she found the entire video to be humorous. She also questioned what would make a person decide to give the church a false testimony.
However, netizens have slammed her for her reaction, especially in the light of new evidence that shows that the woman in question was not telling a lie.
New evidence came out late yesterday evening, showing the woman in a graduation gown. Her name was also listed among the graduates, cementing the fact that she was, in fact, a law graduate.
Netizens have since criticized Jemima for her commentary and defense of Pastor Paul Enenche. They also stated that the entire ordeal was extremely embarrassing for the woman.
