The Imo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja confirmed the victory of Hope Uzodinma of the APC as the governor of Imo State.
The petition from the Labour Party and its candidate was dismissed, as the tribunal found that Uzodinma‘s election followed the Electoral Act regulations.
The allegations of over-voting and non-compliance were not proven by the Labour Party in their petition.
