Kylian Mbappe reveals how racism made him almost quit French national team

Argentina’s Leandro Paredes and Emi Martinez have responded to Kylian Mbappe’s recent claim that the European Championship is harder to win than the World Cup.

Both players, who were part of the Argentina squad that won the World Cup, are now gearing up to defend their Copa America title in the USA.

Mbappe, who won the World Cup with France, expressed his thoughts on the difficulty of the Euros after falling short in the competition in 2021.

However, Argentina, the current world champions who defeated France in the final in Qatar in 2022, were not swayed by his opinion.

Paredes, who played alongside the France International at PSG, said, “He also won the World Cup, the Euros I think not yet. We won the Copa America, Finalissima, the World Cup and we know how important and difficult the World Cup is. We think about what we won, let everyone say what they want.”

Argentina goalkeeper Martinez also refuted Kylian Mbappe’s claim, telling journalist Gaston Edul, “There is nothing more difficult than a World Cup.”
