Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe has filed a lawsuit against his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, accusing them of attempted extortion and moral harassment.
According to Le Parisien, the case stems from PSG’s alleged efforts in 2023 to pressure him into renewing his contract by banning him from training with the first team. The complaint, filed on May 16, has triggered a formal judicial investigation.
Two magistrates have been assigned to the case, with the investigation officially opening on Tuesday.
Mbappe, who left PSG on a free transfer to join Real Madrid, has since been a standout performer for the Spanish giants.
