Cubana Chief Priest, the businessman and socialite whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, recently shared in an interview with BBC Igbo that the insecurity in the Southeast region forced him to move his business to Lagos State.
Cubana Chief Priest expressed his concerns about the rising incidents of kidnapping and killings in the East, which have led to a decline in customers visiting the area.
He said: “There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is our own community members who provide criminals with information.
“Our people began targeting the wealthy, so the wealthy stopped returning home during festivities. That’s why I moved to Lagos to conduct my business.”
