The controversial activist, VeryDarkMan started the planned protest against bad governance, leading to a confrontation with street rapper Portable, who slapped him.
Nigerian youths had organized a nationwide protest set for August 1, 2024, prompting pleas from the government and others.
On Instagram, VeryDarkMan initiated the protest three days early, holding a placard demanding an end to bad governance.
His placard reads, “Emi lo kan…Is it your turn to suffer us? Mr President, do we even have a future with you??”
Sharing the post on Instagram, he added, “Emi lo kon is it your turn to suffer us sir? WE DEY STREET LIKE THIS #endbadgovernanceinnigeria.”
