Prof. Wole Soyinka, a Nobel Laureate, has labeled Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump as a skilled liar.
He went on to refer to Trump as a threat to the global community and a menace during an interview with TheNEWS in celebration of his 90th birthday.
According to Soyinka: “But he did one thing. He studied and he understood the American psyche.
“And he knew the right chord to tweak in order to get them on his side, to get them to believe anything that he says.
“I don’t think the world has ever known such a consummate liar like Donald Trump.”
Trump, a former one-term US president, is running for reelection. Trump narrowly survived an assassination attempt during a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania, resulting in the death of the shooter.
