Controversial Nigerian artist Portable Holalomi has responded to criticism from those who have accused him of disrespecting celebrities who have helped him in his music career.
During an episode of the Echo Room podcast, Portable addressed the accusations and denied insulting key figures like Olamide and Skepta, who he claims played a significant role in his success.
Although he admitted to past mistakes with Olamide, Portable highlighted that the YBNL boss continues to show his support.
“Baddo na person, I have offended him several times but he still helps me! Dem say I dey insult all my helpers; did I ever insult Olamide Baddo? Did you see me insult Skepta? They gave me their platforms,” Portable stated during the podcast.
However, he expressed disappointment in the lack of support from other big industry names like Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
Portable suggested that these celebrities may be hesitant to support him out of fear of being overshadowed.
“You see this industry, there is fake love. If Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, give me their platforms I will blow more than this, but they don’t want to help because you fit blow more than them,” he added.
