6ix9ine was in close proximity to regaining his freedom.
The rapper found himself merely a few months away from the cessation of court supervision when he was apprehended on October 29.
His arrest was a consequence of numerous failures in drug testing and the non-disclosure of travel intentions to his probation officer.
During the past week, 6ix9ine has been incarcerated, yet November 6 signified a significant turning point.
According to reports from the Associated Press, the rapper has acquiesced to a plea agreement that entails an additional month of incarceration.
This agreement has further prolonged the conditions of his probation.
The plea agreement for 6ix9ine received conditional approval from a federal judge in Manhattan.
The document, which was presented in written format, indicates that the rapper is to undergo one month of incarceration.
Following his release, he will be subjected to an additional month of home confinement.
Subsequently, he will experience a month of home detention and a month governed by a curfew. Furthermore, the plea agreement stipulates that 6ix9ine will be monitored electronically during his time outside of incarceration.
The sentencing for the rapper is scheduled for November 12. Judge Paul A. Engelmayer conveyed to the Associated Press that he will impose the sentence immediately after 6ix9ine acknowledges his transgressions.
