GRAMMY-winning music sensation Lil Nas X may have begun 2024 on a low note due to the hostile reception of his January-released, backlash-inducing ‘J Christ.’ Still, he’s determined to finish the year well.
The rapper-singer took to X (previously known as Twitter) on Sunday (November 10), sending his followers into a frenzy with the news that his new era would officially begin Monday (November 11).
“‘Dreamboy‘ phase 1 begins tomorrow,” he said to his 7.5 million followers on the platform.
While he did not clarify if ‘Dreamboy’ is the name of his new album (the follow-up to to 2021’s ‘Montero‘), that didn’t stop fans from assuming such.
And though his supporters gave the unexpected new era announcement the warmest reception, some questioned what it means for the long-teased ‘Nasarati 2‘ mixtape which was due to drop this year with songs ‘Lean On My Body‘ and ‘Trust Me.’
As we await the official word on that potentially shelved project, LNX seems to be moving full speed ahead with ‘Dreamboy’ as its first single, ‘Light Again,’ is due to drop by Friday (November 15).
