Prominent Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams, more commonly recognized as Blord, has incited significant discussion online as he vocally confronted activist VeryDarkMan regarding the purported misappropriation of N180M from funds allocated to the NGO.
VeryDarkMan disclosed on Instagram that the organization’s website had fallen victim to a cyber attack, resulting in unauthorized withdrawals of funds. He further stated that law enforcement had detained a suspect in Jos, Plateau State, and that investigations are currently underway to recover the embezzled funds.
In an effort to avert future security breaches, VeryDarkMan has temporarily suspended the NGO’s application and has committed to providing regular updates to supporters.
The revelation of the missing funds has generated skepticism among the public, with several individuals questioning the validity of VeryDarkMan’s assertions and suggesting the possibility of misconduct.
Blord, who has a history of social media altercations with VeryDarkMan, seized this opportunity to publicly disparage the activist on his X (formerly Twitter) platform.
Blord accused activist VeryDarkMan of theft, asserting that he inherited such dishonest behavior from his mother.
Blord tweeted; “Fear the Loyalty Of A Poor Man !! For a thief will always remain a thief, @Coolverydarkman na better thief , he learnt from his mother.”
In a subsequent post, Blord issued a warning to VeryDarkMan, threatening legal action for the misappropriation of public funds and soliciting money under false pretenses if the funds are not returned within the next 30 days.
He tweeted; “Na this one this boy go confirm problem, if he does not provide that money in the nest 30days I will sue him for diverting public funds and collecting money under false pretense.”
