Famous Nigerian pastor, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has addressed rumors of his supposed deportation from the United Kingdom.
Reports suggested that the UK government was considering deporting him over allegations of misusing £1.87 million in church funds, causing concern among his followers.
However, Pastor Adegboyega’s legal team denied the deportation rumors in a statement on social media.
The pastor himself later spoke out, reassuring his supporters and dismissing the allegations as unfounded.
Adegboyega emphasized his love for London and expressed his determination to stay despite the challenges. He criticized the city for its tendency to “bully” individuals, stating that he has faced and overcome more significant obstacles in the past.
In his words:
“I’ve heard a lot today, and I’m doing this because our friends our fans people who are worried. I’m right here at home, no cause for alarm. And naturally I dismiss things that have to do with retrogression. Every Nigerian should be proud of me.”
