50 Cent has dismissed a recent assault lawsuit brought against him. The suit was filed by photographer Guadalupe De Los Santos in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday.
De Los Santos alleges that he was intentionally knocked off his electric scooter by a member of 50 Cent’s entourage after pulling up beside their car.
According to De Los Santos, as they waited at a red light, the car’s front passenger door suddenly swung open and struck him on his left side, causing him to fall onto the pavement and damaging his scooter. As a result, he is facing significant medical expenses and has had to miss work, leading to lost earnings.
De Los Santos is seeking damages from the rapper, alleging that he instructed someone in the car to harm him with the door.
In response, the In Da Club hitmaker’s attorney told TMZ, “Mr. Jackson has neither been served with or seen a filed copy of a lawsuit filed by Ms. Allred’s firm. However, if and when such a frivolous claim is filed and served, rest assured that Mr. Jackson’s legal team will swiftly move to dismiss the matter and seek the maximum costs, fees, sanctions and other remedies that are available under law.”
They added that he is not accused of driving the vehicle or opening the door.
50 Cent personally brushed off the legal action on Instagram by posting an old image of him with the accuser’s lawyer Gloria Allred.
“The moment I realized I don’t like lawyers, (laughing emoji) Gloria you should know better, chase a different ambulance,” he quipped.
In a second post, 50 Cent shared a screengrab of his lawyer’s statement and a photo in which he and Allred clutched hands at an event.
“Gloria you’re not gonna get any money from me that way, but if you call me I’ll take you to dinner. LOL,” he joked.
