Reports indicate that Kid Cudi’s house was targeted by a hungry intruder recently. The incident involved an unidentified man breaking into the rapper’s Los Angeles home, as confirmed by TMZ. The intruder was seen on Cudi’s security cameras at around 5 p.m. and allegedly helped himself to the rapper’s food, bathroom, and even took a shower.
Law enforcement sources shared that Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and found the man shirtless in Kid Cudi‘s kitchen. He was promptly arrested and charged with felony burglary and theft of utilities. It is uncertain if any damage was done to the property or if any items were stolen during the break-in.
The individual is currently being held on $150,000 bail as reported by TMZ. Kid Cudi has not addressed the incident publicly at this time. Sadly, this troubling event transpired just a week after the L.A. wildfires led to Cudi and others being evacuated from their homes.
