In a recent statement, former President Muhammadu Buhari disclosed that his health has significantly improved since his departure from office on May 29, 2023.
Buhari mentioned that he looks and feels better now that he is no longer serving as President. Throughout his time in office, Buhari faced numerous health challenges that required him to seek medical treatment abroad.
After completing two terms as President, he handed over the reins to Bola Tinubu. During an APC stakeholders’ meeting at the Katsina State Government House, the ex-president hinted that the demanding nature of being the President of Nigeria took a toll on his health.
“Those outside the corridors of power do not understand the complexities and difficulties facing Nigeria.
“My health has improved since leaving office. People who visited me told me I look better than before.”
