The completion of the proposed takeover of Tranmere Rovers is imminent following the acquittal of A$AP Rocky on two felony counts of assault.
The rapper, previously charged with using a semi-automatic weapon in an altercation with another artist, was cleared of all charges on Tuesday.

Reports from Sky Sports indicate that A$AP Rocky, also known as Rakin Athelston Mayers, is set to join a consortium led by Mark Palios in purchasing the League Two club.
The deal, which has been in progress for nearly a year, will see the consortium acquire an 80% stake in Tranmere Rovers for £15 million.
Despite the takeover, Indonesian investors Santini Group will retain their minority stake in the club and continue to be involved at Prenton Park.
