Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has officially turned himself into the police after being declared wanted over an alleged assault case.
Portable voluntarily surrendered today at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba, Lagos, following an official declaration by the police on Monday.
Singer to Be Transferred to Ogun State Police Command
Following his surrender, Portable is currently being transported to Ogun State, where he will be handed over to the authorities for further investigation and possible prosecution.
Portable’s Controversial Statement Before Arrest
Before turning himself in, Portable had earlier taken to social media, claiming that he is a “madman” undergoing treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta.
“I am receiving treatment at Aro. I am a madman,” he said while pleading with Nigerians and the Ogun State Government over his situation.
Why Portable Was Declared Wanted
The self-proclaimed “Zazuu Zeh” crooner landed in trouble after allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office.
The officials had reportedly visited Portable’s business premises for an official assignment when the altercation occurred.

With Portable now in police custody, he is expected to face questioning and possible legal action in Ogun State. The development marks another chapter in the singer’s long history of controversial incidents.
