Solomon Buchi, a media personality, has argued that dating and the talking stage should be abolished as they are not supported by biblical teachings.
In a video posted on his social media page, Solomon Buchi used scripture to support his assertion, claiming that men in the Bible were purposeful in their pursuit of marriage and did not engage in prolonged courtship before tying the knot.
“Where in the Bible have you seen someone say I want to know your daughter. I want to get into a talking stage with your daughter. Men were very intentional. They move with intention’ I want to marry you”.
According to Solomon Buchi, the prevalence of dating is a significant societal issue, as it has unnecessarily complicated relationships and added unnecessary stress to romantic connections.
