Kanye West received backlash for a controversial stunt at the Grammy Awards, where he appeared to demand his wife Bianca Censori strip naked on the red carpet.
Despite reports of being kicked out of the ceremony, West denied this and criticized broadcaster Don Lemon.
Sharing a photo of the former CNN host on Instagram, the Jesus Walks singer wrote, “This the goofball that started the rumour that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this.”
The stunt has been widely condemned, with concerns about West’s behavior towards his wife. Additionally, there are reports that Kanye West may have lost a lucrative contract to perform in Japan due to the incident.
A source told the Daily Mail on Monday: “Japan is having a cultural awakening about women’s rights and the MeToo movement is really strong here. What he did is being seen as an act of coercive control which is utterly unacceptable. He has completely culturally misjudged Japan.”
