Manchester United has announced plans to cut an additional 150-200 jobs as they work towards restoring profitability following five years of financial losses.
This decision comes after the removal of 250 jobs last year.
Following British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe’s acquisition of a 25% stake in Manchester United and assuming control of football operations, the club has been implementing restructuring and cost-cutting strategies to improve both their on-field performance and financial stability.
The club reported their fifth consecutive annual loss in September, attributed in part to not qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
