Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has set three conditions for the club during contract talks. One of these is that he must earn more than Kylian Mbappe.
Vinicius rejected an initial offer from Real Madrid in September and believes he can secure a better deal if he continues to perform well on the field.
Negotiations were reignited in 2025 after reports of the Brazilian’s meeting with Saudi Arabian officials for a potential transfer.
The main point of contention in the negotiations is his demand to earn a higher salary than Mbappe, who currently makes €15 million per year.
Vinicius and his representatives are pushing for a substantial pay increase to exceed €25 million annually, reflecting his value to the team.
