According to The Sun, Maria João Diogo, wife of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, is said to be feeling unhappy after moving from Lisbon to Manchester.
The couple married in 2013 and relocated to England with their two children when Amorim took over from Erik ten Hag in November, but Maria is reportedly struggling to adjust to life in the north-west of England.
Despite being a successful interior designer and businesswoman, Maria is finding it challenging to settle in Manchester due to the rainy, windy, and dark weather.
This is not the first time a partner of a player or staff member at the club has expressed dissatisfaction with the city, as evidenced by Jorgelina Cardoso’s negative experience during Ángel Di María’s brief stint at Old Trafford.
