Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom and husband of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has issued a stern warning to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, urging him to treat his wife with the respect and dignity she deserves.

In a statement released to journalists in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday, Uduaghan revealed that while he initially refrained from addressing the issue, he felt compelled to speak due to recent developments.

“I would never trade her for anything, as she is the greatest joy of my life,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of protecting his wife’s integrity amid the ongoing dispute.

He further stressed that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was elected by the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District because they trusted and believed in her ability to deliver quality representation.

“She is committed to serving her district and the nation at large,” Uduaghan affirmed, describing his wife as a devoted and truthful individual, even in challenging circumstances.

He disclosed that Natasha had confided in him about her interactions with Akpabio, whom he considered a family friend.

He said he handled the situation with maturity and diplomacy, seeking to maintain peace.

Despite an agreement to resolve the matter amicably, Uduaghan expressed disappointment that his wife continued to experience harassment from the Senate President.
