Nigerian content creator Jarvis, who is well-known for her exceptional artificial intelligence (AI) and non-playable character (NPC) impressions, recently shared how her boyfriend Pellar supported her during her recovery from jaw surgery.
In October 2024, Jarvis revealed that she had a tumor in her jaw, leading to speculation from fans and followers about the reasons behind her absence from creating content.
Addressing her followers, she said:
“Let me tell you guys what happened. I was told that I had a tumour in my jaw. I thought It was teeth problems but it wasn’t; the doctor said I had a tumour in my jawline.”
To address these rumors, she went live on TikTok and showed her followers the visible bump in her jawline which resulted in asymmetry on her face.
During a guest appearance on the BTS Reality Show in March 2025, Jarvis opened up about how Pellar stood by her side throughout her recovery journey post-surgery to remove the tumor.
She also clarified that despite public assumptions, Pellar is not her only support system as she has distant family in Lagos State, though he is like family to her.
Jarvis said:
“Let me say it as it is. I came to Lagos when I finished school but normally I don’t like Lagos because it’s too rowdy, being the center of business and everything. It’s not like I don’t have family here, they are distant and I’m not used to them; I don’t know them. So Pellar is like family to me here in Lagos.”
