Nigerian musician, Portable, declines rematch with Speed Darlington after receiving ₦20 million from Burna Boy.
Portable stated on X that he is uninterested in facing Speed Darlington again in the ring, despite Darlington’s offer for a rematch.
Portable has instructed organizers to find another opponent for the fight, as he feels Burna Boy has already compensated him adequately.
He said, “Joy don come, Burna Boy na odogwu. The money long, Burna Boy money long, them dey tell me before, now I know. Burna Boy don send ₦20 million. I no rematch o.”
He continued, “The ₦20 million you wanted to use for the rematch, Burna Boy has sent it.”
“Send that ₦20 million again if you want. I need the money. I can’t rematch, but bring another person, not that fool. He’s a fool at 40.”
He also labeled Speed Darlington a fool at 40 for embarrassing himself and now seeking a rematch.
