Hip-hop veteran Fat Joe is facing a massive $20 million lawsuit from his longtime hypeman, Terrance ‘TA’ Dixon, who has accused the rapper of years of abuse and exploitation.

Filed in a federal court in New York on Thursday, the suit paints a troubling picture of the rapper, whose real name is Joseph Antonio Cartagena. Dixon alleges a pattern of coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion during his 16-year tenure with the artist.

According to Dixon, he played a significant role in Fat Joe’s rise, including contributions as a lyricist and background vocalist on tracks such as “Congratulations” and “Ice Cream”. However, he claims his input was systematically erased while Fat Joe and his associates reaped the rewards.

The lawsuit includes disturbing allegations involving sexual misconduct, coercion, and manipulation, some reportedly involving minors. Dixon alleges he was forced into over 4,000 sexual acts under surveillance and threats, often while fearing abandonment abroad.

He also claims to have endured death threats and intimidation tactics meant to silence him and keep him compliant.

Fat Joe has yet to make a public statement but is being represented by high-profile attorney Joe Tacopina, known for defending clients like A$AP Rocky, Donald Trump, and Michael Jackson.

The explosive case is expected to draw widespread attention as the legal battle unfolds.
