Popular Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has joined the growing chorus of voices condemning the brutal massacre of over 200 villagers by suspected herdsmen militia in Yelewata, Benue State.
Expressing his outrage on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning, the rapper was particularly moved by reports of a woman who allegedly lost her five children in the attack.
“What’s happening in Benue is insane. Ahn ahn. A woman lost her five kids. Na film?” Odumodublvck wrote, questioning the horrifying reality of the situation.
His reaction comes amid widespread national and international condemnation of the attacks, which have reignited concerns about the persistent violence in parts of Nigeria’s Middle Belt.
