Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has addressed fans’ concerns over his noticeable weight loss, which recently stirred reactions on social media.
The rapper, known for hits like Go Crazy, posted new photos on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, prompting a worried fan to comment, “You’re dying bro.”
In response, Blaqbonez clarified that he isn’t sick but has been struggling to eat while abroad due to his preference for Nigerian food. He revealed he’s been out of the country for nearly two months, finalizing work on his upcoming album, and as a result, his eating habits have suffered.
“My problem is I only like Nigerian food, so whenever I leave the country I struggle to eat,” he explained. “I’ve been on the road for almost 2 months, barely eating, cos I want to give you guys the best album experience ever. I’d add some weight soon. No excuses.”
He assured fans that his weight will bounce back once he returns to his usual diet.
