“I’ll be doing it all with bare skin” – Uriel Oputa Embarks on Bold No-Makeup Challenge Until December

Former Reality TV Star Uriel Oputa

Big Brother Naija star and media personality Uriel Oputa has announced a personal confidence challenge that’s getting fans talking — she’s ditching makeup entirely from July 4th until December 2025.

Taking to Instagram, Uriel explained that the move is a conscious decision to prioritize her skin health, self-confidence, and authenticity in an era she says is saturated with glam and filters.

“Whether it’s a red carpet, private dinner, TV appearance, or just stepping out in public — I’ll be doing it all with bare skin,” she declared.

Key reasons behind her decision:

  1. To test her confidence – Uriel wants to discover how truly secure she is without full glam.

  2. To let her skincare journey shine – After years of commitment to improving her skin since 2017, she’s ready to go bare and bold.

  3. To give her skin a break – From the demands of makeup, set work, and constant application.

  4. To nourish her skin inside and out – Focusing on hydration, facials, and natural treatments.

  5. To embrace individuality – In a world where beauty standards often promote uniformity, she wants to stand out by being real.

  6. To redefine beauty for herself – Asserting that true confidence is tested in daily life, not just in front of a mirror.

Still Makeup-Friendly — With a Twist

While she’s going makeup-free for daily life, Uriel clarified that she remains open to working with makeup brands. However, once any campaign or shoot ends, she’ll remove all makeup immediately.

“I won’t be leaving the venue with makeup on. Once the shoot is done, it’s done.”

Uriel’s decision has been met with praise from fans and fellow women who see her challenge as a powerful message of self-love, authenticity, and skin positivity in today’s beauty-obsessed culture.

Her final message?

“True confidence isn’t built in front of a mirror — it’s tested in real life.”
