Halima Amira Junaid, granddaughter of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, is set to tie the knot with Walid Shehu Mauzu in Kaduna State.
Halima is the daughter of Nana Hadiza, who married former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), a few years ago. Hadiza, Buhari’s daughter from a previous marriage, is now the third wife of the former AGF.
Before her marriage to Malami, Hadiza was married to Captain Junaid Abdullahi, with whom she had six children.
The wedding fatiha between Halima and Walid is scheduled for August 30, 2025, and will be preceded by several prewedding events, including a bridal soiree, Kamu, and a grand dinner.
Notably, some members of the former first family were absent at the celebrations.
