Marcus Rashford has been named in Barcelona’s matchday squad for their La Liga opener against Mallorca on Saturday, pending final registration clearance.
The Manchester United loanee is still awaiting confirmation of the paperwork, but the club expects the process to be completed before kick-off.
Barcelona successfully registered goalkeeper Joan Garcia on Friday, and head coach Hansi Flick remains optimistic Rashford will also be cleared in time, especially with Robert Lewandowski unavailable.
The squad list shows Rashford among the attacking options alongside Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Ferran Torres.
To ease financial restrictions, the Catalan giants secured additional funds through the sale of a 50% sell-on clause for former player Francisco Trincao.
Flick has also called up four La Masia graduates — Jofre Torrents, Guillermo Fernandez, Dro, and Toni Fernandez — to the squad.
