Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has tendered a public apology to controversial social critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) over her sister’s ongoing case involving a Dangote truck accident.
Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor, was recently involved in a ghastly accident near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, where she was reportedly crushed by a Dangote truck.
The incident left her with life-threatening injuries, and doctors had to amputate her left leg from the pelvic region. Her right leg, hand, and head also sustained serious damage.
The reality star, who has been seeking justice for her sister, took to social media on Tuesday to plead with VDM, admitting that despite any previous disagreements, she still needs his support.
She wrote:
“From the bottom of my heart, if I have offended you, VDM, please, I’m sorry. Please, I still need you in this case between Dangote and my sister.”
Phyna has consistently called out the Dangote Group, accusing the company of negligence and failure to take responsibility for the tragic incident. The case has since gained national attention, with actress Kate Henshaw also lending her voice in demanding justice for the victim.
VeryDarkMan has been one of the prominent voices backing Phyna, using his platform to highlight the incident and pressure authorities to act.
As the battle for justice continues, Phyna’s latest move signals a bid to mend fences and rally all available support in holding those responsible accountable.
