Singer Tamar Braxton has been in the spotlight after revealing a frightening near-death experience in which she woke up in a pool of blood with missing teeth.
The revelation coincided with the trailer for her upcoming EP, Heartbreak Retrograde, sparking debates online and even claims from some quarters that the timing was a “PR stunt.”
Adding to the frenzy was her public fallout with YouTuber Funky Dineva, who mocked the singer by calling her a “toothless muppet.”
Taking to Instagram, Tamar Braxton appeared to call for peace, saying:
“I blocked you. I don’t engage. Just don’t talk about me. I don’t want anything else to do with you. You don’t like me. It’s ok. I’m a muppet. I’m a snaggletooth. I’m trying to figure out, how did I get in drama when I’m in the hospital?”
The 47-year-old further clarified rumors about substance use, adding:
“I don’t do drugs. But people do drugs. I don’t do drugs of any kind. I don’t do cocaine. You should ask people if they do (it). I have never done it a day in my life.”
