Tamar Braxton has moved to clear the air over long-running rumours linking her romantically with Birdman, the husband of her older sister, Toni Braxton.
The singer and television personality addressed the speculation during a recent appearance on the talk show Sherri, where she spoke candidly about the complicated dynamics within the Braxton family.
While sitting down with host Sherri Shepherd,Tamar Braxton dismissed the claims outright, reacting strongly to the suggestion that she was ever involved with her sister’s partner.
“Where did that rumor come from? That is preposterous,” she said.
The rumours gained renewed attention after Tamar’s sister, Towanda, previously hinted that Tamar Braxton may have been romantically involved with one of Toni’s former partners. Fans quickly speculated that the comment was a reference to Birdman, who has been married to Toni for over a year.
However, the Love & War singer firmly denied the claims, stressing that there was never any inappropriate relationship between her and Birdman. She also expressed frustration that the false narrative continues to resurface despite being untrue.
Tamar’s comments were aimed at finally putting an end to the speculation, which she described as baseless and damaging, as she reaffirmed her respect for her sister and her marriage.
