Nigerian singer Qdot has broken his silence following a terrifying armed robbery at his home, describing the incident as the most frightening experience of his life.
The attack happened in the early hours of September 28, around 2:00 AM, when the artist and his official DJ were held at gunpoint inside his residence.
“It was the most terrifying experience of my life. In that moment, I genuinely didn’t know if I would make it out alive. But by the grace and mercy of God, I am still here. I’m alive and for that, I’m eternally grateful,” Qdot shared in an emotional statement.
The singer revealed that the robbers carted away all his valuables.
“They took everything valuable I owned, down to the last pin — but they didn’t take my life, and that alone is a blessing I don’t take for granted,” he said.
While admitting he is still traumatised by the ordeal, Qdot reassured fans of his safety.
“I will not lie, I’m still in shock, traumatised and deeply shaken by what happened. But I want you all to know: I’m okay.”
Reports also indicate that the attackers not only stole personal items such as phones and laptops but also made unauthorized transfers from his bank accounts.
Despite the heavy losses, Qdot stressed that surviving the encounter is the greatest gift, noting that life itself is worth more than any possession.
