Rapper Latto appears ready to put past tensions behind her and potentially make peace with Nicki Minaj.
During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Latto surprised viewers by saying she is:
“open to rekindling with anybody.”
Yes, that includes Minaj.
When Cohen asked about her past feud with the rap icon, Latto kept her response playful but clear. After co-guest Gizelle Bryant declared, “We love Nicki,” Latto added, “I did, too.”
The comments came after Latto discussed resolving her public dispute with Ice Spice, which resulted in both their teams reaching an agreement and the release of their joint single GYATT.
Latto’s history with Nicki goes back to 2022, sparked by frustrations over Grammy category placements. Nicki’s Super Freaky Girl was placed in Best Pop Solo Performance, while Latto’s Big Energy, which sampled the classic Genius of Love, landed in the Rap category. Latto publicly called out what she felt was unfair treatment, escalating tensions on X (formerly Twitter).
For now, Latto’s comments suggest that reconciliation with Minaj is possible—but only time will tell if the two rappers truly bury the hatchet.
