Mrs. Pat Akpabio, wife of Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s brother, has accused the nation’s number three citizen of blackmail, betrayal, and neglect of his own community.
In a viral social media post, Mrs. Akpabio claimed that the Senate President and his associates were attempting to blackmail her because she refused to associate with them.
She alleged that many Nigerians “don’t really know who Akpabio is,” adding that he had betrayed several key political allies in Akwa Ibom State.
According to her, Akpabio is “afraid of powerful women,” and she accused him of having affairs with married women, while alleging that his wife also went after those women.
Mrs. Akpabio further stated that the only way the Senate President could stop her from exposing him was by resigning from his position.
She also accused Akpabio of abandoning his hometown, Ukana Ikot Ntuen, claiming that despite his many years in leadership, the community still lacks electricity and basic development.
