Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric has confirmed that his brief disagreement with Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has been settled.
According to CREEBHILLS, tensions flared on Wednesday after Lookman appeared visibly upset when he was substituted in the 75th minute of Atalanta’s 1–0 victory over Olympique Marseille. The winger’s reaction reportedly led to a brief confrontation with Juric, who grabbed him by the arm before other staff members intervened.
Addressing the incident, Juric told Sky Sports Italia that the situation has been resolved and that both parties have moved on.
“These things happen. You talk and exchange views, you open up, and the rapport becomes better than it was before,” the coach said. “Ademola is a particular kind of guy. It’s all sorted, we just move on and shrug it off.”
Lookman has been in fine form for Atalanta this season and remains one of the team’s key attacking threats in both Serie A and European competitions.
