A woman who accused Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, of rape has reportedly been arrested and charged to court after allegedly attempting to evade legal proceedings.
The woman, identified on X as @chubbiedivah, had deactivated her social media accounts and was said to have left her residence shortly after making the allegation online.
According to sources familiar with the case, she was arrested on November 6, 2025, detained, and later formally charged on November 10, 2025.
Less than 24 hours into detention, the accused reportedly complained of breathing difficulties and swollen legs, claiming she required urgent medical treatment.
Authorities granted her temporary release on health grounds after her lawyer assured she would appear in court on November 10.
However, she failed to appear, with her lawyer attributing her absence to medical complications.
The woman was again absent during the next scheduled hearing on November 17, prompting the court to reschedule the matter for December 1, 2025. The judge ordered that either the accused or her legal representative must be present without fail on the new date.
Rudeboy has not publicly commented further on the ongoing case.
