Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has shared his thoughts on how people develop a negative perception toward those who stop offering them help.
In a post shared via his Instagram page, Rudeboy addressed the entitlement mentality often exhibited by individuals who once benefited from someone’s generosity.
According to the singer, some people quickly label others as “bad” the moment they stop receiving assistance from them.
“Sometimes in life ehh! The people wey you de suffer for and carry cross for no go send you… until you stop giving them. Then you will become the bad person,” he wrote.

The post has since sparked reactions from fans and followers who agree with Rudeboy’s take, noting that gratitude and boundaries are often lacking in many relationships.
Rudeboy, who is one half of the iconic defunct duo P-Square, is known not only for his music but also for using his platform to speak on social and personal issues affecting Nigerians.
