Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has appealed to Nigerians to shift their attention away from his private life and concentrate on the serious challenges confronting the country.
The singer made the call on December 12, 2025, while performing at a live event where he thrilled fans with his hit songs.
Speaking to the audience, 2Baba said public discussions about his marriage to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, had dragged on for too long, stressing that such matters are insignificant compared to the issues facing Nigeria.
He reminded fans that after years of entertaining the nation through music, it was time for Nigerians to pay attention to more meaningful national concerns.
“Make una ignore all that nonsense. Some serious things are happening in Nigeria. I’ve entertained you all enough. Let’s focus on more important things,” he said.
